Sept 10, at our VFW Post, Barbara Sigmund of the Quilts of Valor organization presented a Quilt to family members who wrapped Marine Vietnam Veteran E-3 Edward Liebe with the quilt. It is awarded to a Service Member who has been touched by war. Among the words spoken, “today it is our honor to award you this Quilt of valor. As you are wrapped in the warmth of the quilt, we ask you to accept a hug. It comes not only from us but from all of our Quilt of Honor members.”
